The National Trust for Scotland selected Culross as a conservation project which has been in place since the 1930s.
As a consequence this small south Fife town is a superb piece of preservation which shows off the Low Countries architectural influence from the 16th and 17th Centuries. It is, effectively, a sort of timewarp.
