This is an ink sketch, dating from 1977, of the 17th Century Auld Bridge, (sometimes called the Bishop's Bridge with reference to Archbishop Sharp).
The cobbled bridge spans the Ceres Burn rising from the village green and up to the High Street and the Fife Folk Museum.
Ceres is a very pleasant community some 2 miles south of Cupar and 8 miles west of St Andrews. It has been described as "the most attractive village in both Fife and Scotland"
