Another take on the East Pier of Kirkcaldy Harbour in 1952 but far less colourful. The several points levers signify the importance of the rail spur that linked the harbour with the main east coast line and also of note are the steam cranes used to unload the cargo vessels which provided materials for the linoleum industry (principally) although the harbour also serviced the linen industry and the flour mills.
