This building, one of the oldest surviving buildings in Kirkcaldy along with the Merchant's House at the end of High Street, now looks pristine as a fine whitewashed piece of Scottish vernacular architecture dating from the 16th Century, a complete contrast with its semi-derelict state in 1950.
